Author's Biography

Dennis Sasseville is an accomplished researcher, author, trainer, and educator. Professionally, he has over forty-five years of diversified experience in environmental management, global sustainability and business advisory services traveling from “Millinocket to the Mohave.” He has made presentations at hundreds of technical and business conferences and has served as an Adjunct Professor in the undergraduate business program at the University of New Hampshire. In his professional career, Dennis has authored and published dozens of peer-reviewed articles in technical journals and co-authored two John Wiley & Sons books on the subject of environmental management.

Dennis was schooled to be a diligent researcher with a laser focus on critically examining every facet of an issue, pushing past popular assumptions to uncover new narratives and perspectives. With a life-long love of American history and New England culture, he utilizes his extensive research skills to shed new light on under-appreciated subjects. He is a member of the Manchester (NH) Historic Association and the Bedford (NH) Historical Society.

As a native New Englander and a 45-year resident of New Hampshire, his love for all things New England provides the framework for his popular writings and in-depth research. In May 2019 he co-authored the history of that iconic New England carbonated soda, Moxie (Moxie, Images of America series by Arcadia Publishing).

Dennis is a lifetime member of the New England Moxie Congress, a loose-knit group of admirers of the beverage, its extensive memorabilia, and its long and quirky history.
